These surveys are normally undertaken when property owners are contemplating new buildings or extensions to existing structures.

A detail and level survey will greatly assist property owners and their Architectural and Engineering consultants in the design process by showing on a large scale survey plan:-

• the location and nature of existing improvements on the subject property 

• the location and nature of visible services on the property and adjoining footpath areas

• the location and spread of trees

• levels on the adjacent kerb and footpaths together with indicative levels across the subject parcel.

Detail and level surveys can also show:-

• the location of adjoining buildings

• existing and adjoining floor and roof levels

• adjoining window locations

• stormwater pipe levels and sizes

• in fact anything required to assist in the design process!
