Conventional land subdivision involves the division of Torrens Title or Old System parcels of land into 2 or more new parcels.

Subdivisions can be carried out for purposes including:-

• a boundary adjustment for the rectification of encroaching structures

• creation of freehold separate parcels in dual occupancy developments

• creation of new land parcels for housing and industrial estates

• dedication of land required under Council conditions of approval including road widening & public reserve dedication
